Hey everybody,
I've had OCD for about 6 months, longer if you count the fact I had it for a while I was very young and got over it for years. I'm a hand washer afraid of anything that looks like blood or anyone who I perceive to be an IV drug user. It started as a fear of HIV and as soon as I got over that it switched to hepatitis.
I'm currently in therapy carrying out exposure/ritual prevention exercises. I came here because I thought it would be nice to talk to people going through similar things (it can be hard to talk to the people around me about the OCD at times). That's all I've got for now!
