Is there any cure, or only treatments?

I am just wondering if there are any safe procedures to cure HH or are there only things to treat it? I have been mostly been dealing with my HH without outside treatment/etc, but it's severely crippling for trying to live a "normal" life at this point in time.

What I'm afraid is that even if I find some pill that will help, I'll have to take it every day and eventually it would lose effectiveness and also increase HH episodes when I am not on the drug (or spray, w/e). Also my HH is on my forehead, back of my neck and back, so I don't think any topical treatments would be a great solution for me :\

There is not a cure, only treatments. Some work better than others and everyone has different kinds of HH that must be treated differently. There is a lot of information on this forum about the kinds of treatments available and how effective they have been in treating HH.
