Update on the older guy in my class.

I feel it's now the appropriate time to provide an update of the situation. Alas, the older gentleman has not ceased at being an utter creep. My teacher like I have mentioned before hadn't ever confronted him regarding his inappropriate behavior , so after the change of seats.... a few classes later were all back to sitting wherever the hell we wanted to. And the guy has continued to inappropriately leer at me. My teacher seems more focused (as she should though...) on educating us and writing assignments on the dryboard. She's not keeping an eye on him at all....*

It started about a week ago. I had arrived early and sat in the back of the class and kind of zoned out for a bit as I awaited the teacher. He arrived a few minutes later and sat on the other side of the room in front. I stared ahead at the assignment board and hoped that he wouldnt notice me. He sat his backpack on his chair and leered for a few moments dead at me while taking out books. Then sat down. I just about froze in my seat and then started to become irritated.

I should also add that I've had someone walk me (they are a little older than me) to my classes (they don't attend the institution) on a regular basis. The older guy is aware of this and after that particular class he walked behind me while leering at me again (tried to ignore him) to get out of a room and then gave a friendly "Hi!" to the person who came with me. About two classes later I overheard his age - he's 51 years old. !

Anyways, the last time he leered was when half of the class was huddled together in the computer lab. I had left the bathroom which is located in the back of the particular room and squeezed past the group, saying "Excuse me" in a small voice (i unfortunately sounded like a mouse) I approached the person who had came with me, I saw the older guy staring at me near the huddle, everyone else was reading papers....

I really need to attend these classes but I'm becoming increasingly anxious before leaving my front door . It's bad enough I have to try and stay focused in a room full of people but really fvck off man..

Maybe you can speak to your teacher again. You could tell her to explain to the class that any inappropiate behaviour (making sure that everyone knew what that exactly meant) could get the offending student expelled from the class. If that fails, you could also get the police involved (I'm not sure whether they would be willing to...).

Snap. Looks like nothing's been resolved.

Since the teacher hasn't adequately dealt with the situation, maybe you should speak with whoever is the next level up in the school?

Yep, seems like the best route at this time. There is another woman whom I rarely see unfortunately, I'm assuming she's one of the head honchos (or assistant of atleast) I will grab the student mentor and deliver the message the next time I come in.
