Waiting for the result. :/

Hi,

So I visited the hospital today, to make pictures of my lungs.
Because I have been coughing for months, have a long during infection, at the beginning I even have been coughing blood etc, and this keeps on going.
Now it is less, but stilll I cough everyday, it's driving me crazy!
My voice sounds strange sometimes, and I have a painful throat.
I have this since Winter.

So I went to my doc, she prescribed me some meds (10 days med) and it didn't get better, after it I got some inhalers for 3 weeks, still didn't reduce it.
Now I had to go to hospital, and the man who was viewing the pictures said ''This looks bad'' ... the woman who helped me making the pictures was very friendly and told me to call the doctor tomorrow, while normally you have to wait 3 days to call..

I told my mom in the car I was nervous about it, she said I shouldn't worry and just call tomorrow, I'm not stressed out, but still it keeps me busy, what it could possibly be, Yeah sometimes I'm such a hypochondriac person.
I just wanna know what's going on, but I'm so glad I can get the result tomorrow, but I hope it isn't something serious, I have a phobia for needles, hospitals and blood. So argh , I shuold stop thinking about the worst possible thing.

Sad to hear that. My mum as problems of lungs all the time. Always taking some meds or going to hospital. She got really scared once...when a doctor made a affirmattion like yours..."seems bad"...so stupid!! Let the results come first. Of corse is something, but almost everything as an easy cure nowadays. Just hope u get better. I'll pray for u I'm atheist...just to see how much i care : P Keep us inform please. Good luck for tomorow!!

Ahh Sorry to hear!

Yeah, I will wait for the results, it's just weird if a person is saying stuff like that, but well.. Maybe it is just a little thing, which could be cured anyway.
And tomorrow I'm going to a theme park, so I will be distracted with my family, that is a nice thing to look out for.


Thank you maiato, really means a lot to me, and what is exactly going on with your mom lungs? astmathic? it's genetic in my family, and bronchitus probs.

I'm sure it will help u distract! Anyway is nothing u can do about till tomorow. My mum is very sensible to weather change and alergic to lots of stuffs. Easily get flu's...and for long time and from that to some more serious inflammations...her defenses are not the best!

So just have fun tomorow! Get the best of day...let the child on u be free : P

Sounds like tuberculosis..

You will probably need antibiotics or something.

I don't know what is wrong, but I have had bad coughs and bronchitis before.
I would get a vaporizer, not a humidifier. They make some vicks stuff to put in it if you want that. Make a tent with your blanket, and droop it over the vaporizer.
I never go to the doctor when I get bronchitis, this cures it every time.
