Hmm, thats odd. VASER is supposed to destroy every single sweat gland in the armpit... Its unusual that you're still sweating.

I've got an appointment with Doctor Payne for Retrodermal Curettage in April, however with the way my financial situation is going at University I'm not entirely sure I'll be able to afford it. The price is really good too, plus anaethstetic it still costs less than £1000.

Did you contact the chaps who did your vaser surgery again?

Yes thats what I thought about Vaser aswell so Im not very impressed to be honest. He said that hes had people who have had to come back to have it done again but I still dont think thats good to be honest.
Also know another person who went to have it done a week before me and they have had the same problem ie still sweating

I thought about the curretage and heard it can sometimes not be 100%. I think thats rare though and think defo worth doing at that price. The only other thing is the bigger scar of course but its not really a prob as no-one really gona see your armpit (unless your girl maybe)

Ive just had the stitches out for my vaser today so Im going to ring them tomorrow. Also they seem to have aggrivated my apocrine glands (the ones which make you smell) somehow as I seem to be smelling really quickly now which Im rather annoyed about.

Yes get in touch with the doctor who did the surgery (if you can) and ask his opinion.

Liposuction is probably ok but i've read there's a chance glands can grow back because they're not cut out. How exactly does vaser work?

Yeh going to ring them tomorrow I think sort it out (and then probably have to go in again n take another whole week off work etc :? )

Liposuction is what I was just about to go for if this hadnt come up (slightly wishing I had gone for that now) ...I think Lipo is quite reliable tbh and dont think heard of anyone having had them grown back.

this is basically how vaser works:
A small incision will be made in the underarm. A VASER probe will be inserted under the skin to break apart fat and sweat glands under the skin (using ultrasound ?)A small hollow tube will be used to draw out the broken-down skin and the incision will be closed with a stitch.
