What are other symptoms you suffer from?

Evening all,

I wanted to see what other symptoms people suffer from and was hoping to maybe make a small database. I know most likely nothing will come of it but it still would be nice to see if there are some common problems.

I started to notice the excessive sweating around the 6th grade and it has very slowly gotten worse since then. I am 21 now and just started a full time job, where I have already profusely sweated through my shirt in front of my bosses (LOL).

Here are some of the other items I suffer from:
Male, 21 years old, 5'7", 128lbs Indian descent. Cousin suffers from hyperhidrosis too.
  1. High Prolactin Levels (MRI concluded no pituitary tumor)
  2. Premature Ejaculation
  3. Whiteheads/Acne/Really Oily skin
  4. Become really gassy no matter what I eat. Stomach gets big and can constantly release gas/burp.
  5. Get an erection really easily/wet dreams
  6. Suffer from aura migraines
  7. Puffy nipples
  8. Gain and lose weight really easily
  9. Suffer from constant sore throats even after removal of tonsils
  10. Pain behind eye.
  11. Opthamalagist said that I possibly have glaucoma but needs to be monitored to see if its just normal

I know that all of these issues are probably independent of the cause of hyperhidrosis but it is still good to know.

What other symptoms do you suffer from, if any at all?

Thank You!

Indigestion/blaoting is a bit of an issue sometimes, however it is related to things I eat or drink in case of beer. It also wasn't always the case but developed over time. Comes and goes now.

I also gain or lose weight easily and sometimes suffer from migraines/cluster headaches and I'm no stranger to pain behind the eye. Triggers (for the headaches) are looking at some screens too (very) long and oddly certain parfumes/air fresheners seem to set it off.

I don't recognise any of the other things. Especially not the puffy nipples. But no in seriousness my skin, apart from the HH and coldness, is pretty good and always has been even when I was a teenager. Of course I have and have had the odd pimple now and then but not really anything to an extent that warrants me complaining about it.

mets4life, thanks for being so honest and open! I guarantee others here would have some of those, too, so you won't be alone. :)

Let's see, I'm a fairly healthy person but I may have a few things here and there....

Excessive sweating (not hyperhidrosis) (possibly genetic)
High blood pressure
Possible eczema but unsure yet
Really dry hands (maybe work-related)
Some sort of reflux/indigestion
Ankle pain occasionally (sprained it bad as a child and I don't think it fully recovered)

Hello my friend,

I am a 25 year old male. I have just recently (about two years ago) discovered that I was sweating much more than needed (feet, groin, buttox especially). And since then, I have noticed a few symptoms along with it:

- Easily cold hands and feet (I was thinking the wetness would be a direct cause but my hands stay dry in comparison to my feet and feel almost just as cold)
-Oily skin, especially in the face, although I do not sweat from the face on a regular basis
-Easily aggravated/irritated, stress levels at a constant high. Sometimes, even noise becomes a stressful factor. Loudness of people talking around me can work me up.
-Sometimes shortness of breath
-Bowel movements less frequent, and take much more time (as if constipation) no matter what I eat. Seems like it takes forever to fully expel fecal matter. I have noticed I sweat more from the buttox anytime I really need to urinate or defecate.

I get the impression my sweating is due to nervousness and stress, in part. But I am not convinced that hyperhidrosis can be caused only by psychological factors. Yes, hyperhidrosis is caused by stress, but I believe something other than heat or nervousness is causing this. Something is stressing the body, like toxicity or intolerance of a food or substance. Hard to put the finger on.

Update: I finished up some of my hormonal testing and the high prolactin levels are caused by inactive forms of prolactin called macroprolactin. Nothing to worry about, however, I still have symptoms of high prolactin :/

Sweating is still at its worse haha, hang in there everyone. Dermira is getting closer and closer!

- I sweat more than normal. But it's not so much that I can't hide it.
- I get acne. It was worse when I was younger and with lots of washing I can keep my face reasonably clear. My back is another story though and there's a bit on my chest
- I have an elevated heart rate even though I'm quite fit. It's over 100 bpm when resting and can almost reach 200 bpm when exercising. I've seen a doctor and he told me It's not dangerous and it's likely just my anxiety.
- My core body temperature is above average too. It's likely due to my fast metabolism and probably contributes to my sweating
- I was born with nystagmus (constant involuntary eye movement). Basically my pupils shake a wee bit. People don't usually notice unless they look in my eyes for a while. Apparently people that aren't born with it and develop it later in life have shakey vision but my vision is pretty stable. It requires a bit of effort to focus on small details though.
