What does kissing someone feel like?

hello there! This question sounds like something a 4 year old would ask haha but I do not know the answer! The way it seems to be is no friends = no relationship

Quite a few people on these forums are or have been in relationships. But some of us don't have the privelege!

So yeah thanks for your time!

. . . I don't really know if I can describe what kissing feels like. All I can really say is that it doesn't feel like what I thought it would feel like.

I had a lucid dream about kissing a couple days ago... It felt soft, tender and at the same time my tongue went numbed... Does that count lol?

hmmm warm and wet, roll your tounge in on itself, kinda feels like that, or lick your own lips, I'm pretty neurotic and don't really enjoy it, then again, I don't even like sharing a drink out of a bottle

oh I removed the PG-13 part of the OP

Dang! I was afraid of that.... I guess dreaming about such things for so long has lead me to think that the "kiss" would be: "Fireworks, butterflies, euphoria, Jack Dawson on the bow of Titanic yelling "I'm the king of the world!"..."

I suppose I have built up kissing and sex way too much in my mind... I do suppose that if it ever does happen, I suppose I will be let down and be very disappointed...

Sex is overrated!!!!
I don't get the hype.
I HATE IT!
I'd gladly never have it again as it ruins relationships- especially by being rumoured that more sex saves relationships...
If someone really truly loves you sex shouldnt be important!!
Though maybe its been more of a chore/punishment than a privilege in my life. Guys can be awful painfully horrible patronising creatures... :(

Sorry.... went on a rant there....

Kissing.... well that depends on who the other person is. The "butterflies" don't happen unless its somebody you're insane about. . . i think!

I can imagine how kissing would make me feel. I always imagine I would be so excited that its actually happening to me that I would go completely weak and shaky, and would just feel really warm and loved inside, weather or not its someone I "love" or someone I don't even know I can still imagine it would feel that way. But Yeah I wonder the same thing iamthenra, that as a result of not experiencing it, I have built it up so much in my head, to be some ultimate thing. Maybe it would feel like that, I don't know, but maybe I've built it up to be something bigger. I do actually worry that if I ever do get to experience it that it won't seem as good as I built it up to be, and therefore will have wasted all that time wanting it so much. But then I think to myself if it wasn't as good as its made out to be why would people who have experienced it many times still seek it out, and go on about it so much?

It depends on who you are kissing.

Sometimes it's a "can't wait for this to be over" feeling, if the person is a bad kisser.

Sometimes it gives you butterflies and makes you feel really pretty (or whatever the alternative is for men..idk) if it's with a person you are interested in and they are interested in you, very soft, tender, lovey-dovey.

Sometimes it's very passionate, sexy, steamy.

Sometimes they are short, cheery, and a picker-uper. Like a little smooch from your spouse at the end of a long, stressful day. Always best with a big hug.

There may be more kinds of kisses, just can't think of any :)

Don't worry too much, my first kiss was when i was 15 i think and you're only 16, it'll happen soon. Feels pretty awesome and its not a practice makes perfect kinda thing, its totally instinctive so don't worry about that. Find a girl on the net; its pretty much a savior for us social anxiety guys, haha,...

I love psychoville :)

it hasn't happened to me that much but when it has it was nothing special, maybe becuase I hardly even knew the girls LOL. one girl I met at a party a few years ago made out with me for like an hour and I wasn't sure how to end it after awhile lol. then another time was spin the bottle so it's probably a lot better with somebody you really love and know.

It does definitely depend on the person your kissing! I hope you are lucky enough to get a good kisser for your first kiss. But, let me say this, my first kiss was a total fizzer (technique wise) but the fireworks were still there.::p:

I had my first kiss at 19 (which I guess is quite late!) It was funny, I'd built it up in my head so much - how do i physically get that close to someone? (i'd barely hugged anyone of the opposite sex!) will it be awkward? will it be all romantic like in films? lol
And when it did finally happen I kept smiling while kissing, it was so embarrassing! I was like oh my god its finally happening! My mind was racing but after a minutes I'd forgotten about being nervous and i got the hang of it :p It was really nice, just being close to someone, being intimate is the best feeling in the world to me.
As for the actual kiss I guess it was wet (but not too wet :p) warm, soft and slow.

kissing is an amazing experience. If you are into it, it can be a very erotic and intimate experience. I wish I did it more often.
