What to do when I meet my friend?

Hi! So I'm meeting a friend I've only met in person twice this week. She lives really far away but we constantly talk on fb like all the time seriously. Anyway we both have social anxiety and are pretty useless when we actually meet in person. Skype calls I'm usually the one doing the main talking and that's always fine with me, but when we get in person I forget how to talk and I'm always filling the quiet air with unintelligent ramblings. The things I end up saying ugh!!

Anyway I wondered if 1. Is there any tips you can give me with interacting with another fellow anxiety friend, and/or 2. What sort of things can we get up to whilst in town. Both times we sorta just seem to wonder aimlessly till our feet hurt. It gets old kinda fast and we both agree haha.

I don't really do the whole "meet up and have a coffee" thing so I have no idea what I'm supposed to do.

I wrote this super fast I'm sorry for all the mess!

I normally have the same problem but it's with talking on the phone so here is what I like to do: I picture myself as the person that is the more dominant one and the other person has social anxiety and not me. Sometimes that doesn't help me though :(
What would happen if you broke down what you want to talk about into categories?
"What would you do if..."
"Do you remember the last time we..."
I like how you...how do you..."

Create question categories like these and fill them in with 3-4 different questions each so you'll have something to turn to in uncomfortable silences. It's just like a quarterback in a game, if he doesn't remember something he just looks at the plays he has on his wrist before he snaps the ball, a lot of QB's in the NFL do it :)

I don't know you and your friend well enough at all, I hope I at least helped :)
