well... I didn't have a first job until I was out of high school about 2 yrs, and it was a construction laborer job helping all the other more knowledgable workers. If it wasn't for my dad getting me the connection also I wouldn't have gotten it. Was kinda like a peasant slave lol. then I worked at a hotel in banquets for about a yr or so because I applied there. now Im in school full time. That's abnout all the jobs I've had. I'm afraid I don't know how to apply or where to apply, what to look for, etc. I kind of shy away from retail and stuff.

it sucks tho I got no experience on my belt other than that. If I didn't have my sleeping problems I would be working now if I could do it at the same time full time school.. but Im not sure if I can.

I know it looks bad especially towards the "females" but even then I wouldn't have time for any. I have money.. it's just not my own it's my parents.. until I get out of school I guess. I could also perhaps (provided I get healthier) work and go to school less but that would mean getting my degree later. For the sake of not relying on my dad's money and financial aid from gov or whatever else..

I hate bein without my own money and having to borrow someone else's even if it's my parents. :(

I mean it's common for some folks to just go to school and not work, but I dont feel too comfortable about it I guess. I'm 22 yrs old.

Surely unemployment is the worst aspect of SP.
I don't know what i should say to others questions.

As an adult, so far my record is 2 1/2 years without a job. In that time I: moved back in with my parents, went through my entire life savings, lost the majority of my self esteem, came close to losing touch with reality and then finally hit rock bottom and made the changes I needed to get out of that nightmare. I hope to never go through anything like that again and the only way it's going to happen is if I keep on working hard and don't make excuses.

I never had a job in HS.

I babysat family for the summer of 03-06.

I had my first real job Mar 05 - Jan 06 in retail. I quit because it was too much with school.

Then, I got another retail job June 2007 - to the present.

I graduated college in 2007, but am not doing anything with the degree I got. I guess I had a couple of opportunities to use it, but I am scared about interviews and calling people back about setting up interviews. So, I sort of let some opportunities slip by....

I am back in school again, hopefully to get a new degree. Really, I don't know if this is the best idea. But, I have nothing else going on.
