why do i hate everyone i dont know?

hi everybody, why do i hate everyone my age that goes to my school and lives around my neihborhood that i dont know could this be the sa becouse after i meet someone there the complete opposite of what i thought they were like and i feel like a jerk. anybody?

Hate is a strong word, maybe you dont gel with them but thats different. try and accept more people for what they are and maybe try and influence them if they annoy you or if you find them to have uninteresting tastes.

Your expectations a probably way too high, everyone is an individual and you have the right to choose your friends, so dont feel bad about it.

Its funny how you meet someone online and you develop a relationship and when you meet them in person it can be a complete shock because you create a method actor in your head based on a fantasy of that person from how they come across online, thats somethin people need to be open minded about as well.

I also hate everyone my age.

I feel that way all the time I think its a form of jealousy. Seems all these people are always happy and living there life and im stuck with this stupid problem. It makes me angry and these people have no idea whats its like to go through this every day.

I find myself being very fussy with potential friends and ususally end up dismissing them. Whether its some sort of 'defence mechanism' to stop people getting close to me (much more likely), or I just pick people who are prats, who knows?

I am afraid of people my own age aswell as they always seem very confident and they dont understand me. They usually are very outgoing and gobby, always discussing things like reality shows, big brother, boy bands etc, which I have no interest in - so that makes it harder. I like things my own way, not fashionable things! :twisted:

But in a couple of months time Im going to be meeting a friend I made off here, and spending the whole day at a festival with him (if all goes to plan) hes the same age as me.
We get on really well.
So I think if someone your age has SP they understand you more, but if they dont have any shyness problem, they just think you are weird, so its harder to get along with them

hello IronMaidenRockess, just wondering what kind of tv do you enjoy watching the most? i also find very boring all those reality shows don't know what people find so interesting about them
i like animated series like the simpsons, family gay, american dad, and contests, what about yourself

Baywatch
Things like Casualty
Series's like only fools & horses, friends
Neighbours and home & away

Other than that, just rock music channels & dvd's

you know, I'm like that too. Not hate, persay, but they just irritate me. I think the reason for me (and it is sa for me) is because I physically just don't feel very good around people I don't know very well - they make me nervous, so I feel uncomfortable. So, I don't really hate them specifically, I just hate that feeling and therefore blame the cause of that feeling (even though the cause is really me, I guess.)

Its just like, they give me a headache sometimes.

i dont like some ppl my age cos of the way they go on. they just have huge egos. i feel like im in competiton with everyone but i think that is just my age. i also get jealous sometimes of ppl who seem to have everythin. its weird tho cos some ppl that i have just noticed around town i have become friends with and they r totally different to wat i would have expected. they were my idea of perfect and meeting them showed me that they have their problems and imperfections aswell.

having sa led me to have a bit of an identity crisis. i just didnt know wat i wanted to be or do or where to fit in. that had never bothered me before.

i am just happy to be me now!i like wat i like and not wat i think i should to please other ppl!
