I havent found anyone I really like, or interesting enough yet to warrant any kind of effort, although being a social recluse I guess its going to take a while. I dont really mind being single right now anyway

I hate it when my family asks if I have a girlfriend. I mean don't you think they would know it if I had one. I usually respond with "I don't know" in a very aggravated way.

I know what you're saying... Back in the days i had my share of this crap from my dad.. Get a girl, go to that high school prom, dress up check these girls out.. Man **** off, leave me alone, stop making me feel like crap!!! Parents are human beings and sometimes they dont understand jack-****...

Hm, I never really get that question. I assume that even they think that I'm not relationship material. Which is ironic considering I have a secret boyfriend they don't know about. x3

I get the ''So, what do you do?..'' question allot. Which is offensive as they know about my situation I live in, and still find it necessary to bring it up. :/

I usually tell the asker that I haven't found anyone yet. Then I try a bit of uncomfortable humor. "Why, are you interested?" If he or she is family I might say something like "Incest isn't really my thing, but I can't say that I've ever tried it. At least not yet," then give a hopeful glance. If it's a guy asking I'll say something like "I'm not really into guys, but I might make an exception for you." A charming smile obviously follows that one, too.

Basically I figure if you're gonna make me squirm, I'll gladly return the favor. And I'm quite secure in my heterosexuality so I don't mind acting a little gay. Especially if you're nosy and homophobic.

I usually say that I haven't found the right person. But what I'd really like to say is .."mind you own business"

If I was single, I'd quite happily pipe up with something like "Can't be arsed" or "Why do you care" or "Does it matter?" or even just a plain simple cheery "F*** off ♥" if I was in a bad enough mood.

I'm a grouch that way. ::p:

I try to keep in mind that a lot of the time they really don't mean to be unpleasant, and it doesn't occur to them what an uncomfortable question they're asking. It seems obvious to us, but it isn't to a lot of people.

It can mean they look at you and think you are date/relationship-worthy, and since always being in a relationship is normal to them (as it seems to be for most people), they simply don't understand why you are not paired up already.

Because im absolutely terrible at showing my feelings, or acting interested.
Whenever a girl gets close to me, and im interested in them my anxiety really kicks in, makes me act all weird, stutter, say stupid things. Then they end up losing interest and its finished and we just wind up being friends.
frustrates the hell out of me.

I say that I am to ugly or maybe girls dont like me,but thats a lie the truth is that I am not confident enough with the other sex, also most of them only like jackasses and I am not going or want to put up a false front.

i just respond with 'i am gay' even when i am not, to make them stop talking to me about such things. but of course, this makes them talk even more about me, but it doesn't matter as long as its not in my face.

not actually Fiona Apple
"So do you have a girlfriend yet?"
"No"
"Why not?"
"I don't know, I just don't"
"Well you should get one, the girls are probably all over you!"
"Not really, but thanks Grandma."

Thats how it usually goes.

"Hey man, you gotta get a girl... I mean you got the looks man..." - One guy told me that and i thought about the fact im not missing anything other than the courage of doing so, if only i dropped my ego and never gave a crap about being scared from people and society.... Im not regretting the past here but making a point..

Usually every woman I bump into likes reality TV shows or Shoes etc, not saying all women are like this, just saying every women I have spoken to that seems to like me gets on my nerves after actually talking to them, must attract the dumb type. But yeah if someone asks me why I haven't had a gf in a long time, I usually just reply with "But you always knew I liked boys more than girls". Totally screws with them.

i have a chronic cheating problem so i can never keep a relationship. its like as soon as one guy doesn't talk to me for a day i hook up with another guy so that i can be constantly reassured that i'm cared about. its a horrible cycle that i can't seem to escape.
