Are 'Shy Girls' attractive?

OK, Since i have Social anxiety, i am a Shy girl.
And I hate it!
But anyways, I have read that people with confidence are more attractive is that true? ::(:
Are shy girls attractive?? I really dont want to loose attraction because of my social anxiety =(

I honestly find shy girls attractive, i would much rather date a shy girl than a loud obnoxious cheerleader. Its just harder for us guys to approach shy girls.

Sure they can be. It's not really an issue at all. I can sense a wave of angry criticism approaching as I say this, BUT: as a female, your physical health and hygiene are far more important in terms of attraction.

i find them extremely attractive, specially if they blush, cute :)
they make me feel more confident.
now..shy guys, well we are just losers. it sucks :(

girls are all attractive to me, whether shy or not.:)
other factors are much more important to me.

I think they are. Shy girls tend to be less slaves to their emotions and can understand where I'm coming from more than other girls, though it really doesn't matter. Both can be equally attractive imo.

Shy girls can be attractive or not. I do not find anything attractive about the trait itself, but it is not a turn off either.

If you are shy, isn't it a given that you lack confidence on some level? Confident people should not be inhibited in any way.

I think i'm going to have to agree here. Because i'll say that I in fact do find shy girls attractive, but there are other factors that are involved as well.

I'm pretty sure I could be just as attracted to an outgoing girl as well...it really just depends. I suppose I say I find shy girls attractive because I have something in common with them and I can relate...but then again if I connect in some way with an outgoing girl I would feel the same.

Really? Back in the days (i.e., grade school) I always had the impression that loud and take-charge kind of girls were more noticeable and therefore more attractive... not necessarily in a sexual way.

It's attractive to some, not so much to others. It all depends on what kind of guys you want to attract exactly. I think if you can't be yourself to attract a guy and make him stay with you (this is horribly worded, but you know what I mean), he probably isn't worth it. Changing yourself is fine and dandy, but do it for yourself and not for anyone else.

They aint to me. You mean those girls that like to be quiet. and you have to try to make them talk all the time? No, to me its a turn off, yea i can picture an attractive lookin girl thats just a bit shy but talkactive and not boring, that wouldnt be a to big of a problem. My girl has to be hot but also have a great personality, shyness is not attractive to me. It's not that I can't stand shy girls, just no attraction

Apparently, shyness is not a problem for girls, guys don't seem to care. But if you're a shy guy, you are f*cked. Most girls admit this, you can easily google this and see what girls think of shy men (my God!). But you will not see the opposite, men don't really care. I like shy girls, actually I only like shy girls :)

Most definitely. It depends on the level though, they can be very unapproachable. I'm not shy, I'm phobic of certain social situations.

Sure, I'll still think she's hot, but I'm somewhat un-attracted to a social girl that has heaps of friends, because I know I wouldn't stand a chance with her, so I immediately feel out classed.

It is more generally true that confident males are more attractive to females. Speaking to us on this forums, I would imagine that most guys here would find a shy girl attractive because we definitely know where they're coming from. Initially, attraction is only skin deep anyway. And having your own sense of style is important.
