I received my score for the university test I did earlier this month. I got 163, which isn't too bad. I would have to contact my local university to see if it's enough to get into the course I want to do. That's going to be scary!

Went to the shopping centre this morning (I usually wake up in the afternoon). I actually like going outside when there aren't many people around. I mean, if I'm going outside to do something that I might think is a bit embarrassing, I'm perfectly fine with it if there aren't many people around me. But if I think there are going to be a lot of people outside, I can't even leave the house.

^ Awesome! Great job, Mikey! :) Hope you get into the major you want.

Okay, I'm officially nuts.

I was desperate for French toast this morning, and we only had one slice of bread left. I ate it but it wasn't enough - you have to have at least two! So I racked my brain, wondering if I could improvise somehow... and I remembered I had a container of leftover oatmeal in the fridge. Yes, oatmeal. So I did a test run of a little glob dipped in the batter and fried it, and it came out great! I did a whole bunch more! :D

It works because the batter on the outside gets cooked and the inside just stays as is, so you basically just have another carrier (preferably a grain of some sort) for the outside coating, which is obviously where most of the flavor is. Science! :p (...not)

I googled it and there are pan-fried oatmeal recipes that look similar to what I did, so I guess I'm not that nuts after all. Just desperate!

That's ingenuity :)
At least you had milk...I am always out of milk to make french toast. I am thinking of someday getting some dairy goats so this will be problem solved.

I think I'm going to try waking up in the morning and do something I've been avoiding. Might do it this whole week at first. Went shopping for clothes I needed today (though didn't manage to get everything). I also have to start riding my bike again and try out the pool in my gym (haven't swam in years). Now I just need to think of something for the other two days... I'd like to go play basketball somewhere but I still have to find a place first.

Are you building a mine in your backyard?

they're blasting through 20 feet of bedrock to put in a new sewer line

wish me luck

^ Have you had goat's milk before? I drink goat milk fairly regularly (since I'm allergic to lactose and lactose-free milk is expensive.) and it's actually not bad! Of course it depends on what your goats are eating that determines the proper flavor. More grass and good quality hay and feed, plus giving them your veggie and fruit scraps and less commercial anything makes the milk sweeter -- or at least that's my experience here with my mother's goat that she milks.
