Hi there, I've been away from this forum some time since I was hoping to get some results to share before posting again. I have some interesting lab results now, however no clear cut diagnosis yet much less a solution to the sweating. Still, it would be great if more people with HH have done this test/will do these tests to see how they... by Jezza

I finally got my iontophoresis treatments working properly. I did two treatments per day for three days on the trot and on the fourth day I was completely dry. Since then I ve been doing treatments every other day ( 3-4 per week) for the last three weeks or so and my hands have been crispy dry. My question is-am I overdoing it? Im worried... by hydroman123

I don't know about anyone else, but I love it when the cooler weather replaces the hot humid stuff. I can sort of "come back out" again because my HH is much more manageable during the cooler months. I am just beginning to hate summer...Problem is, summer is when everything happens...Weddings...Graduations...Reunions...Vacations...Makes me wonder... by Sweatin_Bullets

Greetings! I am 19 years old and i have a medium form of palmar and plantar hyperhidrosis. I saw recently on a forum about this a message in which a doctor gave an e-mail address of another doctor called Mirela Wagner, saying that she knows a treatment for this hyperhidrosis. I e-mailed her and asked what is this treatment and she told me that it... by the_chosen_one89

I have been reading these forums for sometime now and I feel like I should contribute to all of you who have been contributing to me. A little bit about myself, I am 28 male and have been dealing with HH since my teen years. Its very embarrassing to be the only one at a social situation sweating but I did notice that my sweating somewhat slows... by blue_ibiza

Have any of you ever thought about why humans sweat on their palms or feet? What advantage does it give us? All it does is create a nuisance in social encounters and being a social being, why then were humans made to have hands that can sweat, it doesn't make sense. Do you guys even think hyperhidrosis is a disease or do just some people sweat... by surfsider

So I've been researching ETS surgery for along time now probably for over a year and from what I've gathered and read to me it seems like ETS is a surgerical procedure that's just like the flip of a coin. It's basically a 50/50 outlook. It is true that everyone who has this surgery will get some compensatory sweating somewhere else on their body.... by surfsider

Hi, new user here... I've been suffering from palmar, plantar and auxillary hyperhidrosis since I can remember and have only just in the last couple of months been able to get it under control by using iontophoresis (Idromed 5 - HIGHLY reccomend) :D I have also just found out that I am pregnant. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about... by Fern

Hi, I'm fairly new to this board, though I've frequented upon it in the past few months or so. I had ETS performed on me 4 years ago for Palmar HH and it simply led to extreme compensatory sweating on my torso and feet. I've been interested in Robinul, but my doctor won't prescribe it for me because he doesn't know anything about it. Is there any... by daftpenguin

I just discovered this forum - it's wonderful to find so many people out there who understand what it's like to have HH. On the train this morning, this bunch of teenagers were giggling, pointing to, and talking about me because I had sweat pouring from my scalp. I was so irritated, though I kept telling myself they're just stupid kids, and it... by thadine

Hi folks! I suffer from hyperhidrosis. Firstly it was under the arms, from about aged 18. Managed to get it under control with driclor. Now I have generalised sweating due to an unfortunate reaction to an alternative therapy, my first post on this site was about this. I do believe that their are many reasons we sweat, but I think most of us... by frogambassador

Where do I begin? I'm a 38 year old male who has suffered from severe cranial/facial HH for as long as I can possibly remember. About 6 years ago, I stumbled across some Hyperhidrosis information on the web and was stunned - stunned that I had FINALLY found proof that I wasn't some genetically altered freak of nature. How has HH... by cubfan4real

Iíve got palmar HH. Itís so severe that I do iontophoresis using Drionic machine almost every other day (1 hour treatment in full setting). Sweating quickly sets in if I try to space the treatment. Even with such intense frequent therapy, the hands are not 100% dry. I use tap water without adding substances like bicarbonate, Glycopyrronium bromide... by HHH

I recently made my 1st post on these forums and introduced myself; long story short, a 38 year old sufferer of heavy cranial/facial HH and armpit sweat to boot. I had 2 clients at work that I had to present to today. I took 2 - 1 mg. capsules this morning on an empty stomach to see if it would help for my 10:00 am presentation. Within 15... by cubfan4real

Hi, I have palmar HH, axillary and foot but not bad (doesn't smell or soak things, socks only damp when I work out). Drysol and such products work on my underarms (with some irritation so i only use it when I really need to, maybe it works for a day or two with one application after night shower). My body probably sweats in some places a little... by tiny83

I have been lurking the forums and other HH forums for a while, but wanted to share that i did have this surgery and it was successful :D . I went to Dr. Nielson in Texas. I was very skeptical due to all the horror stories online and in forums about the ETS surgeries. I had HH of the hands, feet, and armpits. Excessive in all spots so i... by larold

I was cured of my hyperhidrosis in June 2005. Yesterday, a friend of mine, who may suffer from hyperhidrosis, was complaining about how much his hands sweat. It prompted me to look up some information for him tonight, and I decided to post on this forum since it seems many people here are suffering from the same problem I was. I started... by AgentBauer

Hi guys, My son just completed 8th day of "shannons" video therapy, and seeing just a little results so far on the left hand. So I want to go ahead and order a product as well. I was going to order the wipes, but someone has mentioned a gel for the hands. Which products have you tried? Which product works best? Thanks, by Sophie67
