I have 3 bikes now. I have a Diamondback Outlook mountain bike which I've had since I was 16. It still works though for riding around town thanks to more repairs than I can count.
I have a Dawes Giro 200 which I bought a couple of years ago for longer rides out into the countryside. This is a kind of hybrid bike, narrow tyres like a racer but straight handlebars.
Since last month I have also had another bike, my dad got 2 bikes off a friend whose father used to cycle a lot. It is a Viking road bike, with dropped handlebars, dating back to sometime between the 60s and 80s. It was in quite a rusty condition however my dad cleaned it up, resprayed it and had a few parts replaced so now is quite a good bike. This bike I am going to take on a 9-day tour of Scotland (a linear route from John O' Groats to Newcastle). My brother is going with me.
