Anyone who's had botox...Help!

I've suffered from HH since I started puberty, but I don't only get it just from my palms or my armpits etc. I get everywhere, literally. After trying special deodrants and tablets I was referred to a specialist who suggested getting Botox under my armpits (she said to work on one area of sweating at a time).

I'm definately going to go for it, but I'm really nervous (it doesn't help that I hate needles...)

I was wondering if anyone had had it done? How painful is it? Did you get compensatory sweating? Did it actually work?

Please help!

I had botox done for my armpits. It didn't hurt. There was just a slight stinging with the poking of the needle. Overall there was only a little discomfort and after it was all over my pits were fine. There was no burning or irritation afterwards. Unfortunately the botox did not stop me from sweating, however it did decrease the amount that I sweat. Also I have had no compensatory sweating.

So I say good luck to you. I'm sure things will go good!!! :D
