fingerprinting

This morning I took an exam at a testing center, and to check in I had to get fingerprinted with an electronic device that reads it into a computer. Unfortunately, it completely failed to work for me. The device wasn't at fault, because it worked ok for the staff member who used it later to log into the computer.

I did a simple search on the internet, and found that this sort of thing has happened before to someone who had hyperhidrosis, and I assume that's why it didn't work for me. So electronic fingerprinting might pose a problem for those of us who have palmar hyperhidrosis.
