I think you'll find a small enough class if you look around enough, and you can get classes just for women too, if that helps.
I practice at home, well, being housebound and all. I went through a few books, dvd's, and eventually found someting that works for me. Here I find that colleges do lesure courses for things like that, and numbers can be limited, it's worth a look.
I tried learning Portugese years ago, when I was 15, but I had problems then and didn't have the motivation.
I'm gonna take a part time course near the end of the year, I don't wanna have to be around people too much, just get practice of what I've been teaching myself. I know I'm not ready to handle attention, having to maintain real life friendships or going out, so taking baby steps, doing what I can.
Cooking is relaxing, but only when I have one of my family to sit in and talk wif me, I can't explain it, just a nice atmosphere.
Jewllery making sounds cool, heh, maybe one day.
