Ooooooooh - this is my kind of thread!!!

I'm such a homebody and love interior design. My style is a mix of comfy, cozy, cottage/vintage, light 'n airy, with a splash of color. I'm soooo not into the whole modern minimalist style!

Ideally, I'd like a Craftsman style home:

With a white, retro or French country style kitchen:

An open livingroom with beamed ceiling:

And a bedroom with lots of woodwork:

I've always wanted to live in a nice, log cabin style home in a secluded area like near a forest or the mountains that's far enough from people that I don't have to run into any unwanted social situations but close enough for me to go to town and have human contact when I need it or in case of emergency.

Or better yet: a foreboding Victorian inspired manor to scare people away
