How I Deal with HH

I have hyperhydrosis on my face and head, hands, feet, back, kinda all over.
The worst by far is the face because it's so visible. All you people who sweat
a lot on your hands or feet or underarms, I feel your pain but let me tell you,
facial HH is by far the worst because everyone can see it, you can't hide it.

At least with my hands I can keep them hidden and wipe them off quickly
before shaking someone's hand. And my feet are hidden by shoes. But face is out there for all to see.

I tried Avert/Robinul, the Secure Wipes, Face Saver gel... nothing works.
So how do I manage?

Here are a few good tips:

- Wear a baseball cap or hat to hide the forehead and help soak up some sweat.

- Stay close to an air conditioner or fan. (in your car, office, home)

- Use elevators instead of stairs

- If you start sweating a lot, go to the bathroom. Sit down, wipe it off,
cool off, then go back to what you were doing.

- Drive in a nice air conditioned car instead of walking when it's hot

well it is possible that insurance can cover it. my insurance did when i was getting botox in my hands. and as for the pain...let me tell you something...there is no place on the body with more nerve endings than the hands..therefor it is the absolute most painful place to have it done. i had it done multiple times....it hurt like a bitch but thats how desperate i am to fix this. unfortunately i have extreme all over HH so i cant just get botox in my whole body... so im still at square one. if it means enough to you, you should check into botox as pedro suggested

How about trying some benzos or increasing your dosage w/ robinul?

Have you ever tried to use strong anti-antiperspirants; like Certain Dri or Drysol on your face?

I've tried and it helped somewhat. I don't have sensitive skin though.

*You have to use apply mentioned products the night before and sometimes for a few weeks to get effect.
