NOW WE'VE GOT PERSPECTIVE! HOOOOORAAAYY!

I was born in Truro, Cornwall, in 1976, the same year that Apple was founded, and Acer. Probably not much else.

So I'm about to embark on a mid-life crisis in June, as I become 35.

A birthday is NOT an achievement
As neither is 'having' a baby
What's a baby? It's not a noun! It's an adjective.
So why does everyone use it as a noun? Retards
Producing a baby human is not an achievement, either. I believe some others might have already done this

Ohhhhhld Maaaaaan!
Hummmmmmmm bug

Actually "baby" is a noun. In the example you cite, it is a noun being used as an adjective cf. "the England cricket team". Other parts of speech used as adjectives are the present and past participles e.g. "running water" and "trained professional" respectively.

Twenteen. I refuse to let go of being a teenager...so much comfort lies in the fact that a word like -teen follows a number.

It's pretty surreal reading the first few pages of this thread dating back to 2006, realizing 5 whole years have passed.
