Nails on a chalkboard

I was just wondering if anyone else with hyperhidrosis couldn't stand touching things while their hands are sweaty? For example, touching skin, or a table especially, while my hands are sweating is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.

Absolutely. Touching certain fabrics would expatiate the sweating. Even the thought of somebody running their nails down a chalkboard would make me sweat. I recently got ETS surgery but I still have the "feeling" of sweating (this will go away for me over time).

Synthetic materials would always trigger sweating. I had to wear only cotton socks; synthetics would make my feet sweat worse than they do. Wiping your sweaty hands on anything other than cotton triggers more sweating.
