This is kind of a random question, but I was wondering do you think social phobia causes poor social skills, or do poor social skills cause social phobia?

uff i hate these "yes no ok ok" conversations but i cant help myself

i think im good socially and i generally have a laugh no matter wot im doing, but its the times on my own building up to going out that i get nervous and it sucks!

Sometimes when Im outside eg waiting for a bus, strangers will talk to me with small talk. I think Im a professional with small talk LOL, as I just copy what others have told me, but when I try to tell the strangers this, they never hear me anyway LOL, or they just say 'what?'

I don't now I would say for me at least social phobia leads to bad social skills.I've had social phobia all my life and I think social phobia hurt me because I never learned the right social skill when i was younger because of being afraid and would avoid thing that was social because of it.
