This scenario reminds me of the movie 'Amelie' - where little Amelie would get all over excited at being examined by her papa ( cause it's the only time he had physical contact with her ) and her heart would race. So he mistook it for a serious heart problem.

I'm scared there might be something wrong with me besides my heart acting like this due to SP only

It's no good to carry those thoughts around - i know, my mind can turn a leg ache into cancer - if anything the examination will ease you of that fear - HOPEFULLY, i wish you good health and hope that it just turns out to be a case of nerves.

I've got to see my doctor shortly in the next week or so ..*sighs*
