This will sound REALLY weird!

I have been moving for the last two weeks, and something very strange has happened with my H.H.

Ok, So moving involves things like; Lifting/moving heavy objects, physical/mental stress, long hours/days of work, and no computer access.

Around day 3 (of 6) I miraculously stopped sweating. The sweating did not completely stop... but it decreased around 70%! I couldn't/cant figure it out at all! I have severe HH in my hands, underarms, & feet. It stayed that way until I had finished transporting boxes, and had begun unpacking them.

Now, im almost back to normal sweating. During this sweat less time period, I wore one shirt all day! Instead of wearing 4-5 and still having pit stains constantly. I never had a single pit stain the whole time i was moving.

This is going to sound very crude, 18+ only...

The only factor I can imagine (that changed) was that I didnt masturbate for 7 days... while my computer was in the box & 6 days of moving until it was unpacked.

*All of the days of moving... I didnt even wear Drysol. Only some regular deodorant thats cheep and junk.

Could something about masturbation be making me sweat more? Hormones or something?

Post thoughts, ideas, or questions!

*** I just rememberd that while my armpits & hands sweated MUCH less... my feet were sweating more***

Normaly I have very mild sweating on my feet. I forget about it most of the time. But during the move they were sweating more.
I would still clasify it as mild though.

This is very strange, and I really cant think of any reason for. Besides it being a temporary outcome, of the sudden H.H changes.

There are definitely links to all kinds of things, but you're right on the moving house thing. I've found that when I move location, I tend not to sweat as much for a couple of days. It's odd, and I have no idea why.

You could always try not masturbating to see how it turns out, lots of people seem to have their own triggers for HH, I've read stories of people getting rid off it simply by changing their diet - so who knows.

I think it's quite the stretch to correlate this brief period of not sweating to a break in your masturbation routine.

You do realize that you just admitted that your a porn addict, as I'm assuming you jerk off in front of your computer?

Too much information buddy.

Good grief.

Masturbation is a pretty much common place in modern society, and Sure_Why Not raises a valid point. Anything that can be corrolated with a break in HH conditions needs to be mentioned, even if people like yourself don't want to hear it - tough luck. If masturbation provokes chemical or hormonal changes that could affect HH, then it should be talked about.

I'll be sure to add the "effects of masturbation on the sympathetic nervous system" to my arsenal when researching ways to reduce my condition.

Whatever floats your boat flab.

Don't be an idiot. We know HH can be anxiety based, and we know masturbation has more effects than just sexual relief, nobody has a clue whats linked and whats not. You can't throw away a valid point simply because you don't agree with its content. Sheesh. I'm not saying HH is caused by masturbation, but I do recognise that hormonal chemical reactions can be linked to anxiety, as well as other things.

Which is funny, as one of the possible (but highly unlikely) side effects of ETS was impotence, it all goes back to the nervous system.

Hehe. I dont know about this one?:) (Masturbation)?

But I belive that we all have differents things that trigger our sweating.

Me f.ex.
If a man is sitting and rubbing his hands, its irritats the hell out of me.I say to myself,if you had HH you would not do that, you moron. And he is still rubbing his hands, rubbing his feet.I try not to see,by the way.I am talking about sitting in a sauna after swimming. He can irritate me so much I want to walk over and punch his face in.Yes I know.In a sauna U are suppose to sweat, but anyway,I get this weird feeling in my hands/feet..He is trigging my sweating.

Same if I am sitting in a waiting-room or are stuck whit people, and they are rubbing their hands, its triggers my sweating. And yes. I know its not their fault, thats why I dont cant punch their face in!

Talking about moving.
I can not relate to that. But if I sweat.I have notice that if I am doing something active, moving around in my appartment.Like washing the dishes, hang up clothes,eh,yea even have sex, etc.I dont sweat in my hands/feet.But if I am totaly calm doing nothing, watcing tv.I can sweat very much in my hands/feet.??

Guess this didnt help, just trying to make a point that we all for sure have different things that triggers, and do not trigger sweating.

So cubfan4real,this is a forum for all kind of questions related to HH,its not for you to decide what kind!!.Even if this was a little weird one,HH is ****ing weird.

So people like you who answer that way, make other people not to dare and ask weird questions! Please shut up if you dont want to help, even if YOU think weird questions dont belong here.

Do you have HH btw?

Oh,and another thing,do you masturbate?.Dont think U do.lol.. Asking this way, because I dont think this was only a masturbation question. It was. If this could be a link to HH,or what triggers HH, or not.

I got the point at least, even if I dont think stopping masturbating would stop his HH.But it was not a disscusting question like you tried to make it.But yes weird,at least a new one, never heard of that one before:)

HAHA. Pseudo-intellectuals, like yourself, make my world go round.

Spoiler: Im an 18 year old guy, in college, with a girlfriend. Who also happens to be a musician.

*18+ Message again*

Porn is good, Sex is better, & I use/have both multiple times a week.

Go figure... haha

*End*

Anyways... IM assuming your as smart as you think your are, and would like to explain something. Im a teenager, not a 38 year old man. My body's growing, my hormones are changing, my mind is maturing, I dont know what I want in life, and I still cant even grow a full beard. (lol)

I'd say were a bit different. & Whats quite a stretch is to assume that your anatomy/hormones at age 38, are the same as mine at age 18.

Your contribution to this thread is no longer valued, but please continue posting for comical relief.

Not engaging in sexual...anything. Is not as easy as it sounds, haha.

Although ultimately an unrealistic solution for me, I will be testing this within the next few weeks. (and i'll get back to you guys)

If moving stopped your sweating some too then we should definitely question it. Maybe the answer isn't fixing the body... the answer could lie in fixing the Brain/mind.

Its worth noting if nothing else. Its not like any other theory's have been any real success.

Along with my masturbation theory, my HH started in my early teens.

Both of those points can be easily traced to changes in hormones.

Anxiety/depression can be easily traced to chemical imbalances.

Its all connected, but which are effects and which are causes.

Thanks for all of the good feedback, I really appreciate the support.

This time next week I'm off to a dermatologist to try stop my sweating. But I'm going to try stop masturbation and see if it affects me at all, even though we break up for half term on friday in the UK, so at home I don't sweat at all so i might not even notice any change. Might as well give it a shot though.

What's your situation?

i c

in the last few years of high school i did over excessively perspired ex: especially during intramural breaks, gym class and that sort of thing (i think it started during grade 9) (guess what was happening to me during that year?), when i did start sweating , and if i might add i didnt do very much but i would feel very hot, and i would have had to run out of the school for a while and wait until i stopped perspiring

this happens at the usual times of the year, like summer, and even in winter. i guess i dont really suffer from this too much anymore since i just do simple exercises daily and put a damper on my junk food habits. i keep in mind to not overly exert myself when i do know when i will start to sweat. i got it under control now i guess

Bump. This is relevant to my interest. Even if its not the answer to everyones HH, it could help a great deal of people. If they find a solution to HH as long as it is fixed early on, like in pre-teens or w.e.

something like HH prevention and detection could ultimately end the needless suffering of people in the future.
