For me it's particularly poignant as it's a band from my hometown. If you mean taken from the shane meadows film. I was the age of the main character at the time it was based and that film seem so very familiar with my youth, as dose the music. 80's Britain was a very depressing time. My best and only was very freind much like combo and went down a road of ruin with drinking and benzos, he ended up killing a guy years later.

Ah... I remember this song... The original had a kind of more upbeat, congo feel to it, that doesnt really match the lyrics. Which is why I like the cover better.
Also I love HU! This song is probably their most touching... It kind of even tells a story in a way. And I can actually imagine an arm sticking out of bed with a burnt up/finished cigar in their hands while their singing this
Also.. That's the original? I thought Simple Plan made the song o. o Or maybe it was just titled wrong when I downloaded the I Miss You mp3...
And uuuuugh! I remember this! D: I found it by mistake... But it had an AMAZING charm for it, for a folk song. So I put it on my iPod, lol.
