Which charities are good places to donate to?

I feel great today I'm in the spirit of giving Which are some good places or charities to donate to cause there's so many to choose from. I already donate to my church and certain charities that the church gives to but what are some other goods ones?

I usually support Make a Wish.

Thanks for your inspiration, I just donated to the Children's Wish Foundation and plan on doing it more

My personal favourites are Amnesty International and Oxfam. It's difficult to choose one charity over another, but I've always figured that extreme poverty is the most urgent problem facing our world today, and Oxfam seem to do the best job in combating that....but I especially like Amnesty International cause they tend to do a lot of work with the governments of countries which is where the roots of a lot of the worlds problems stem from.
