work christmas parties

Speaking of work Christmas parties, i have one to go to, im trying my hardest to get out of it but i dont think i will be able to. See i went last year and they played this game where you would go up and you could either take a present or take someone elses and it would go on and on until everyone had something, OMG i freaked out, i hate being put on the spot like that, i swear i could have had a heart attache, i didnt know they were going to do this i was new to the company and the only reason i went was because i was forced by my mother. So yeah i cant stop thinking about it and trying to think of ways to get out of it. BLAH i suck
