Oh... how could I forget the song "At 17"? Not a personal favorite. But the first time I heard the song was on my 17th birthday. My mom played it cause I was turning 17. She didn't think anything of it, she always liked the song. Anyway, I went in my room before it was over and about tore my hair out. I still can't listen to that song without getting all depressed.

We all have songs that we listen to when we're feeling down. Here are my top 3 Sad songs:

1. Nutshell by Alice In Chains
2. Journeyman by Iron Maiden
3. Deep Water by Charon

How about you guys?

Holy sh*t. Before I even clicked on the thread, and just saw the title of it, my first thought was "Nutshell by Alice in Chains." I listen to it a lot when I'm depressed.

Seether- "the gift"
Seether- "never leave"
Breaking Benjamin- "rain"
Evanescence- "missing"
Staind- "epiphany"
Trapt- "bleed like me"
Flogging Molly- "whistles the wind"
Red- "pieces"
Linkin Park- "leave out all the rest"

As depressed as these songs make me feel, I still love to listen to them.[/QUOTERe]

Red fan eh? They are my favorite. And alot of Staind songs really bum me out, although they are one of my favorite bands as well.

Hmm it's mood-dependent, but for me it's probably "Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley. His voice has me in tears half the time. And the fact that he died so young makes listening to it sadder. oo and "Tonight Tonight" by Smashing Pumpkins is pretty sad, as is "Kiss From a Rose" by the legend that is Seal.

hallelujah is the worst, especially the jeff buckley version. it gets me every time. also, speaking of smashing pumpkins, thirty-three. it makes me feel so lonely and sad :/
