How are you feeling?

Me too. I'm feeling very down on myself and unliked in general. ::(:

I'm craving chicken and waffles after seeing an ad for a soul food restaurant.

You aren't Leslie Knope by any chance, are you? :D

Still feel good, but I'm annoyed at my mother. The reason why is infantile, so I won't get into it, but the day I move out will be a happy one! Now I'm in my room with good music and time to myself. :)

Also feeling anxious about later today. I'm going to go visit my grandmother, and that ward still scares the hell out of me. I don't want to go, and I've told my therapist this, to which she said that there are things in life that we just have to do, and they're bad and awful and we don't want to, but we have to. She has a point.

Mikey go see your grandmother. I hadn't seen mine in 6 years and now she just recently passed. Made me feel even worse, the person that I've become.

I feel a bit relieved of my anxiety.
Today I went to social anxiety support group meeting we had introductions and time to vent our troubles, afterwards some of us went over to a cafe talked about stuff in a comfortable social area.
More exposure to social situations is important ease social anxiety, I got to get out there more and talk!

^ Awesome! Hope you're able to do it again sometime. :)

I watched Doctor Who for the first time tonight. I had no idea what was going on, but it was still so incredibly addicting to watch.

I am starting my new job on Tuesday.

If you are interested I am now working in a cash and currency security firm. Driving to and picking up cash from banks and refilling automatic teller machines - along with general admin type work.

I quit my job at the postal service. Interesting - the entire time I was there, no one said a word to me.... not even a hello or good morning. The moment they new I was leaving they all started warming up to me and chatting to me.

Like saying how wonderful someone is at their funeral - when you hated their guts when they were alive.

Lame. People are lame.

People better be devistated on my funeral, though. I'll be checking from above. I better see a tear or two or there'll be hell to pay. Haunt the cake or something.. yeah, that would be awesome.

Also, congratulations on the new job! It sounds like a high responsibility job. :3

No, I doubt that - they came across as the type of people who only accept people who reminded them of themselves. They enjoy the rut - because its comfortable. The hypocrisy of it is that if you took them out of their comfort zone and put them in a situation where they didnt know anyone and were in an unfamiliar environment where they were not experienced - then they would crumble. Yet - they were unwilling to extend a friendly gesture to someone new themselves. I guess that is what happens when you stay in the same job for 25 to 30 years and dont know how it feels to be new and not be 'part of the club'

Sounds like maybe they were showing you the same disservice that they themselves had experienced in the past and now feel the need to display that power over you. I knew people like that once. I think, in a sense, they were intimidated by you. Maybe they saw in you what they wish they could be, whatever that something is. I can see that you have great inner strength judging by your posts. People who hate others do so because they're the ones lacking. They were happy to see you go.

And your right. If they were removed from their comfort zone the tables would be turned.

I kind of just want to break down, just for a couple of minutes. My sister is moving to North Carolina on Thursday, my grandmother is having heart surgery on Tuesday, I still haven't found a job, and I feel like it's all piling up on me.

That sucks, Super. I know I shouldn't say this, but screw the job for now. It's not going to magically appear, and considering the circumstances I think it would be good to focus on your grandmother and sister for the time being. Deal with the important things first, yah know? That's hard enough to deal with without external stress. :C
