sa and aggression

now i see a lot of things on here , posts threads ect i was born here , i grew up here , my mum gave birth to me here , my dad made my mum pregnant here , you get the picture yes anyways , i just wondered why so many people lose there cool on here ... we all have a diff of opinion yes , but jesus people , do you think being sa makes you agressive towards people that dont have the same views as you , just asking ... i see it a lot on here ....and be honest do you think being sa makes you defensive against people you think dont understand you almost as i said agressive ..post edit Aggressive spelt it wrong ....hey i had to google that word aggressive damn i knew i was spelling wrong , angry face run out of smileys people wink .....

Well people are people, and there will always be some who dont agree with what the other says, and maybe for some it is easier to write their frustrations here than to say it to another personally.

No. I try to understand everyones point of view. But i think my SA makes many people aggressive towards me because it makes me an easy target.

I always have the feeling that the people going to hate me and thats actually not wrong(All hate me) because im so quiet people always thinks they can say what they want to me and if they push it to far i can get really out of control but this can only happen if they are touching me.I hate also my dad because he is a alcoholic.When i was a child my dad was only drinking every week I was and i still hate him so much because he was making me feeling like im a nobody so i got no self esteem.he was also never teaching me something like how to repaire a bike or something but i was learning it at school...there many other thinkg to say but i need to sleep

Not at all, people with different opinions fascinate me. I always try to study how their way of thinking works. It can be quite enlightening sometimes. ;D

I only get frustrated (but never aggressive) when people start ranting about heavily racist, hateful, misogynist, genocidal (ect) things.

Also, download Firefox! It has spellcheck build in! (Just sayin', it has saved my life a million times. :B)

I think a lot of people here have a lot of frustration, and this is one of the only places they can vent or express it.

I don't think that's the same aggression, and I don't think it means people with SA are unusually aggressive.

I must say I've been very shocked at the aggression I've seen (and I'm not just talking about today) - I'm used to it on other websites but I thought people with SA would not be much more aggressive online than in real life.
I would never have the courage to fight with someone online. Some people have said things about a topic I mentioned a few weeks ago that made me very angry but I let it go - I have no intention of getting into an angry debate, let alone a nasty fight. I back off on forums just like I do in real life.

I've been on plenty of boards with much more aggression than this board. Most notable are boards about game consoles, politics or cars.

It's quite fun to discuss the latter if you can beat your opponent(s) with scientific data. The infamous "capitalism vs. socialism" debate is my personal favourite.
