Is there a way to mark threads that you enjoy as ‘favourites’? so that you can have a list of favourite threads just the same way as you would have a list of favourite URL’s

The internets leave me feeling kind of empty and sad, always looking for more and never being satisfied. I may need to go on that internet hiatus sooner than planned...

Just finished walking to the store, which took over an hour in total::p:, and, now, I never want to get up again:rolleyes:. On a side note, while I was walking, two things happened. One, someone asked me for directions and, two, someone leaned out of their car to shout at me. I don't understand why people do that. They honestly have nothing better to do than try to scare someone walking? It's irritating and kinda saddening to think that the world has sunken this low. Oh well, it's over now and I finally got some food in my tummy, so I'm content:).

How could the neighbors have thrown a big teddy bear into the garbage bin  I could never throw out any teddys, toys, I have hard time throwing out even other things, clothes, books, anything. It makes me somehow sad to get rid of things, as if they were alive and also they were with me for some part of life, now I have to dump them to the bin, it´s cruel.

Exploring derelict buildings is officially my new hobby.
Not one I'd feel overly comfortable with announcing in real life though

It's so interesting though. The nearest I think you can get to going back in time - going around buildings that haven't been touched in decades... just been left to rot with all the old furnishings left inside. Can get some great photos too - plants growing out of toilets etc.

That sounds like a blast! Just watch out for funky flooring and remember the eleventh commandment, okay?

If you can (and want) take some pictures on your next adventure. I'd love to see them.. They're so oddly majestic, those buildings.

I went to the cafeteria a while back. There was a group of guys and girls, I assume my age, it was a BIG group. I swear I've never seen anyone so loud, immature, obnoxious and completely disrespectful of others in my entire existance.

I understand they want to hang out and have fun, but did they really need to SCREAM at each other instead of just talking? I am not even saying they were talking loud, they were nearly screaming everytime they chatted or laughed. Not kidding. And their conversation topic consisted of swearings, bad jokes, random sexual comments, laughing as loud as possible for no reason at all and hitting the tables (yes, really)

I was going to leave earlier, but thankfully, they left first, so I could stay a little longer and enjoy my coffee. However, my hedache didn't go away. Loud noise usually makes it worse.

Yes, I'm intolerant, sue me.

LOL yay, I dont have to feel so embarrassed anymore by my strange hobby:D

Ever since I was a kid its always been one of my favourite things to do.Its so creepy and peacefully eerie to me. Theres one ive wanted to go to for years, an old British cobblestone farmhouse where priests excorsised the possessed lady living there 150 years ago so...yeah I dont have the balls::p:

But you live in the UK though,im so jealous.Canada isnt really the best place to have this sort of hobby hehe.

Imagine if they were a bunch of 40 year olds instead. Frightening isn't it? Those are the people I have to work with everyday.

Why is there an abundance of grown men acting like little children in the world today?

I hate cafeterias. I went to a community college, and it was just as you describe. I'm going to a university this fall, and I think it will be a little better, but I still dread them. I hate eating alone. Just hope I can find one friend to sit with so I won't look like a loser. But who knows if that will happen.

I hope you can find someone :)

I don't mind this cafeteria, it's usually a calm place frequented by elders. But sometimes, unpleasant people hang out there and everything goes to hell. I feel bad for the poor grandmas and grandpas who want to have a nice time and they can't because a bunch of kiddos won't stop screaming obscenities.

Man, I hate talking to people, so hard and it makes me paranoid.

My terrible social/communication skills are awful, and I end up annoying people. People often hate me, which makes me paranoid when talking to them.

Does anyone here use Skype frequently? I prefer using the messenger on that (NOT the video call, don't freak out, haha) as opposed to Facebook because it's less distracting and... stuff.

Just curious I guess. I wish more people still used instant messaging services instead of, or in addition to, Facebook. I really liked those but it seems most people have abandoned them in favor of Facebook's instant messenger -_____- (which, by the way, totally sucks and is often glitchy).

Skype is the best ;)
