can't breathe

Why does this stupid lingering cough I have seem to get about 20 times worse at night, RIGHT when I want to go to sleep. Sooo annoyingggggggg.

Girls with the so called "resting bitchyface" are hot imho.

ALL of them? Interesting.

I think my sister has that face. Maybe.

Information overload.
Sensory overload.

From what, the internet? I hate that. It happens to me so easily and in almost any situation where there is more than one thing to focus on. It happens online, at the grocery store (or any store for that matter), at a library, etc. Not even kidding.

Something in my teeth. I flossed but the sensation is still there.

Isn't that the worst? :p

I've heard coughs do tend to be worse at night, not sure why. How long have you had the cough for? I've had one for the past several months now and I think it's allergy-related. It's annoying because it makes me sound like I'm sick all the time, or unhealthy and it's certainly unpleasant.

Do you think propping yourself up on more pillows would help?

To all who celebrate, Happy St. Patrick's Day! I hope you have some good food and drink :)

I wish I had more people to get together with, but to me St. Patrick's Day is more about eating my mom's delicious meal than anything else. People go all-out and do parties and everything, but I don't get that crazy over it. We have other holidays for that - people just want excuses to party I think :p

I do try to wear as much green as possible, though.

Fluorescent lights, mountains of products, music, noise, flashy displays, uncivilized Americans acting like animals in there... ME, TOO.

I just watched this season's "Check It Out" segments on Awesome Show and I am really disappointed.

The skits are especially cynical and Riley seems to have lost his way with the Steve Brule character.

That means you must be of Irish extraction.

Unfortunate thing is... unfortunate?

Guy who runs the SA treatment group I contacted said he doesn't take my insurance. And it's one of the more popular insurances around here; it figures. I couldn't have done the group anyway, though, because my insurance is through my college and so it ends in about two months... *sigh*

Today kind of ended up sucking. Major migraine, holiday dinner not even done yet (probably not til around 10:30), and two really anxiety-provoking situations at two different stores in my town involving condescending rude people.

Just keep truckin' on, right? Blahhhhh so much to worry about...

I don't really celebrate it. How does one usually celebrate it? Drinking?

Drinking and/or eating Irish stuff like... yeah, corned beef, and/or cabbage, and/or wearing green and/or swearing a lot and/or ordering a Shamrock Shake from McDonald's.

Just kidding. It's up to you, but many people drink/eat corned beef/wear green. This year I wanted to do all three but so far I've only done one and will hopefully do another before I go to bed - mmm I can smell it cooking... 1.5 more hours :/

I feel like it's finally getting better, probably until tonight anyways :p. I've had it for about 2 weeks, from a bad cold I believe. It was bad enough to take away my ability to talk completely for a few days, now I'm still just a bit crackly. I already sleep on a mountain of pillows!! Yeah, I hate coughing all the time, I sound like a smoker!! I hope your cough gets better too.

Also, reading about Saint Patrick's day make me want the dinner. My mom always made it, and made the delicious Irish Soda Bread too. Didn't get to eat anything this year. My favorite part of holidays usually is the food though.

Ah, that joyful, happy feelin' after seein' a great stand-up comedy show... Best euphoric high ever! And much like heroin, the come doon fae it is f**kin' hellish. Which is probably why yer GP never recommends watching comedies as anti-depressant for depression.

For the last two mornings I've woken up earlier than normal, feeling like I was breathing a handful of dust. It was hard to breathe and I even felt some pain in my left lung. I ended up opening the window of my room and breathing a bit of outside air for a while, then I went back to bed and left the window open. That sensation became smaller and smaller until eventually I fell back asleep again.

I think the reason I continue to have dreams about people from high school is because I see them on Facebook and it reminds me of both fun and semi-traumatic times then. I really would rather not waste my dreams on some of the people who have been the subject of quite a few of them lately.

I know I'm a freak when it comes to indoor air quality, but I would really try to do something about it if I was you, because it can ruin your health on the long term. If it's not done already.

Exactly why I left facebook.

What can I do? My maid supposedly cleans the dust (I hear the vacuum cleaner but my desk and my pc are full of dust that I have to clean myself). I try to keep the window open but it gets fairly cold. The sheets are changed once a week (every Thursday). My mum smokes, which doesn't help, but she's been reducing lately.

I can't even figure out a possible cause for this sensation. For some reason when I told this to my mum her first reaction was to make an appointment at the doctor, she didn't even consider a problem with the bedroom.

Could you possibly buy and use an air purifier?
