How are you feeling?

I'm feeling alright. I just had a great meal. I should have taken a pic for all you guys, maybe next time. My meal was: Pork chops, cream corn, baked potato with sour cream and cheese, and these premade biscuits that soak up the butter just right. I really enjoyed it.

Sounds pretty good... :)
You should totally take a pic next time and add it to the food thread so we can all get jealous and lust after it.. (is that the right word? lust? meh...)

^ You sound like you're having a pretty good day. :)

I'm feeling pretty icky this morning. I woke up with my sinuses hurting, my throat dry, a bit of a headache, and feeling nauseous.

And I hate when I get to thinking and end up feeling kind of awful right before I go to bed, only to wake up the next morning and continuing with the same feelings and thoughts. It's like as I sleep, my thoughts/feelings are paused, and as soon as I wake up in the morning, it's back on 'play' again.

I can relate to that, hope you get well soon.

Feeling slightly inspired to do something. There are a few dead things I could clean up in the front garden. Or I could punish myself by ripping up some more ivy. After 45 minutes of ripping/digging yesterday I cleared about 10 square feet.

I really don't want to do it, but maybe if I just get started....

Hie yer hence from me heath!
My mum and I are feeling really down because of the death of one of our cats. ::(:

Yesterday, my oldest sister phoned our mum said she had a break from work for an hour between 11:30am & 12:30pm, and would drive straight from work to take her shopping. I come downstairs and see My mum pacing the living room and looking out the window, slightly panicked. My sister's not answering her mobile phone because she's running late. I haven't seen her acting like that before.

Then yesterday evening, my mum comes upstair to my room on the verge of tears saying she was standing at the backdoor for about 10 minutes, waiting for the cat to come in, then she remembered she doesn't have to. Then she said it's hard to believe he's not here anymore. At that, I brokedown in tears. ::(:

not a good day at work. difficult teens to deal with. bad feelings to dispose of now :/

What are you doing that requires you to deal with difficult teens?
(You don't need to answer that.)

I'm sorry about the bad feelings. Do you have a creative way to dispose of them?

Can't take much more of this job. Sitting at a computer for 8 hours a day is just killing my neck, head and eyes. It even hurt to swallow my dinner this evening my neck was so buggered.

Problem is, it took me years and years to decide I wanted to work in IT...now if I change after less than a year, I have no idea what to do.

^ Do you get up periodically and walk around? I used to work in IT and did this. Not only did it help physically but getting away from the coal face enabled me to think about things with a broader perspective. (I've read that you ought to do this for ten minutes every hour.)

There are also a swag of stretching exercises you can do without leaving your chair. And it's highly recommended that you look away from your monitor and off into the distance regularly so that your eye muscles don't get strained from holding one focal point for too long.

My apologies if you already know all this.

On a different tack, a lot of people carry stress in their necks and shoulders.
