Yea me too.
I mean, once I can get used to the motion sickness...lol::eek::

Yeah, I was in that same boat with the DK2. Start slow and in short bursts. It used to make me really sick, but after a while it was a lot less bad. The consumer version is also said to be (far) less simulation sickness inducing.

Word processor developers, where is the option for "stop changing my edits and forcing header formatting on me or I'll kick the shit out of you"?

Sincerely,

Better off doing it by hand, probably

EDIT: Oh my god, that's the solution?! For shame, LibreOffice. Get off my system.

I have to say LibreOffice doesn't hold a candle to Microsoft Word. Everything that isn't just writing plain text can be quite bothersome and complicated to do. I have to google how to add page numbers in the footnotes, which is ridiculous. Saving page styles and then editing them is quite faulty too for example. Formulas are a bit weird too, though I never used them much in Word so I can't compare. Bullet points also have some weird behaviour, they occupy a certain space but cut off the lower part of the letters; if you get the typing line there it'll increase the space they occupy and show the whole letters. I don't understand why it can't just show the whole thing every time, it messes up with the spacing of the whole document.

All in all, it requires a lot of time to get LibreOffice running according to your preferences, while the same process is effortless in Microsoft Word. Word is way more expensive though, so that's why I don't have it for now.

I love Linux and converted in part because what I knew of the Terminal was better-looking and more intuitive, but I hate Linux software. Wining and dining my old stuff from Windows that I know will get the job done reliably with time to spare is my solution.

What is AbiWord even

I don't

I just hope what I saw of it was not intentional and some kind of flaw on my system, because the text would not even display correctly while I was resizing the window

All this complaining about free and open source software in here, well I won't stand for it!

Jarte is free, and also not terrible! I provide work for free sometimes, and am due for criticism if the grammar is garbled or it does not make sense. Anything except that the genre is not what a reader likes.

I'm earning a lot of my money this summer through writing, so if Linux wants to stay it's either going to run Wine or be for more than just hardcore computer geeks with time to kill.

Free as in freedom, I mean. Software thrown together by volunteers for the simple purpose of having that software available.

I don't normally have problems with Wine. Have you tried a front-end like PlayOnLinux? Worst case scenario, fire up Windoze in a virtual machine.

Free software isn't gonna pay for no grocerieesssss.

And, nah, I've got no problems with Wine. My old processors run beautifully on it... though one of them looks a little bit funny, the work itself is actually fine.

After seeing ultron, i'm starting to hate movies. that bwaaam sound is scary. the formula of sending my heart on a rollercoaster of suspense leaves me fatigued at the end. it's just too much for me emotionally. and gender roles. i'm so happy that we are experiencing a bit of a gender revolution here where men don't have to be all alpha because that's not how i am. and i'm noticing how i actively try to act like a bad boy because i am uncomfortable being my gentle self. any thoughts on this?

Find anything interesting under there?
Actually I had a pretty good buzz going so it was kinda entertaining!

But I did find a tiny black thing under there and I panicked cause I thought it was a bug(I have a terrible fear of bedbugs even though I haven't been anywhere to get them) but it was just a piece of lint.
